Objective

Our goal was to tell the story of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation’s ambitious project to create a new world-class venue for the performing arts in Sarasota, Florida.

Without a physical building to show, we faced the challenge of illustrating the foundation’s vision, mission, and the impact of its programs through video storytelling.

Our focus was on making the foundation’s goals and efforts clear and engaging to potential donors, inspiring them to contribute to this transformative project.

Results

Our storytelling journey took us across the globe, including Miami, Dallas, New York, Athens, Copenhagen, and Oslo, where we documented the foundation’s review of the world class buildings of their architect finalists.

We also captured the local impact of the Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation’s arts education programs, featuring the work of Teaching Artist Stevey Jones and Artist-in-Residence Adrian Anantawan.

These stories were showcased at the foundation’s fundraising galas in 2022, 2023, and 2024, playing a key role in fundraising efforts.

Through these videos, we have managed to convey the significance of the project and its benefits for the community, helping to raise over $3.9 million at the annual galas, and more throughout fundraising drives outside of the events.

Our work continues to play a crucial part in engaging the community and attracting financial support for the foundation’s vision of a new cultural landmark in Sarasota.
